DETROIT, MI (WSAU) โ The Milwaukee Bucks will be the #5 seed in the Eastern Conference playoff bracket after defeating the Detroit Pistons 125-119 for their seventh straight win.
Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with another triple-double: 32 points, 15 assists, and 11 rebounds. Bobby Portis added 17 points and ten rebounds from the bench.
Kevin Porter Jr added 16, Center Brook Lopez scored 15.
Detroitโs Cade Cunningham scored the game-high with 36.
Milwaukee won despite being outshot from the field 49.5% to 46%. The Bucks made up that deficit at the free-throw line, where they went 22/27 to 9/18 for Detroit.
Every Bucks player scored at least seven points in the win.
Detroit entered the night two games behind Milwaukee for the five seed, meaning they needed to win both games to have a chance at passing the Bucks. Milwaukee will face the Indiana Pacers in the first round.
Milwaukee and Detroit will close the regular season on Sunday afternoon at Fiserv Forum. The NBA playoff schedule will be announced next week.
