PEORIA, AZ (WSAU) — The Seattle Mariners beat the Milwaukee Brewers 9-3 in spring training action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Brewers jumped out with three first inning runs on a three-run homer from Issac Collins, but that was all the offense they could muster on this day.
Brewer pitchers Elvin Rodriguez and Tyler Alexander were lit up for nine earned runs on 13 hits over 7 2/3 innings of work.
The Brewers are 13-11 in spring play and will take on the Chicago White Sox this afternoon at Maryvale.
