I’m Daya, I came to HSMC as a stray.
I was really scared and unsure of things, I didn’t understand why I was coming here and not going back home.
Staff assured me it was okay and they would try to find my home. A lot of time went by, I kept waiting and my family never showed up.
In the meantime, staff kept trying to make friends with me and I began to trust them.
I’ve realized my family isn’t coming for me, so here I am, ready to find a new family to love me.
I am an energetic and happy girl. I love my people once I get comfortable with them.
I think I would prefer to be the only dog in the home.
I might take some time to warm up, but I think in time we can become the best of friends.
