Clifford Heiser
WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A former Wausau firefighter/paramedic who was convicted of sexually assaulting a female patient as she was being transported to a hospital will be tried for another instance of sexual assault in November.
Clifford Heiser is facing two counts of sexual assault of an unconscious victim and felony counts for bail jumping and failure to maintain his address on the state sex offender registry. Court records show a four-day trial has been scheduled beginning November 4th.
The 40-year-old is accused of forcing himself onto a woman as she was sleeping. Investigators say he was also accessing the internet and social media, which he isn’t allowed to do under the terms of his probation from the previous incident.
Heiser was released on a $1,500 cash bond one year ago with a full no-contact order against the victim. He’s also not allowed unsupervised access to the internet and social media, including Facebook and Snapchat.
