WDEZ Country Cares for Kids Radiothon Raises More Than $219,000

WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — It was another big year for the WDEZ Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon.

The two-day, 24-hour event brought in $219,969 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.

All money raised goes to help fund operations at St. Jude including medical research and housing for the patient’s families. Donations came from sponsors and listeners.

Last year’s event raised just under $210,000.
