LOS ANGELES, CA (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens basketball team saw its seven game winning streak come to an end with an 85-83 loss at UCLA on Tuesday night.
Wisconsin cut a nine point deficit to one with a minute remaining but the Bruins got a defensive stop and made free throws to ice the victory.
The Badgers were led by John Tonje with 24 points. John Blackwell had 23 and Steven Crowl added 11.
Wisconsin, now 15-4 overall and 5-3 in the Big Ten, will host Nebraska on Sunday afternoon.
