Legendary Brewers announcer Bob Uecker dies at 90, leaving a lasting legacy in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The radio voice of the Milwaukee Brewers for more than 50 years has passed away, the team announced Thursday.

Bob Uecker was 90 years old.

Uecker, a Milwaukee native, has been synonymous with Milwaukee baseball since 1971 as the Brewers’ radio announcer. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003.
