ANN ARBOR, MI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin men’s hockey team picked up yet another top-20 victory with a 4-0 win over Michigan on Friday.
Kyle Kukkonen, Cody Laskosky, Ryland Mosley, and Quinn Finley scored for Wisconsin. Ben Dexheimer recorded two assists.
Three of the goals came on special teams; two on the power play and one shorthanded chance.
Wisconsin outshot the Wolverines 28-23. Tommy Scarfone earned his second shutout in three games, making all 23 saves.
The Badgers improved to 5-6-0 in B1G play and sit in second place in the league standings with 18 points out of 11 games played. Wisconsin and Michigan conclude the two-game weekend series tonight in Ann Arbor.
