MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Bucks will be without one of their top scorers on Tuesday night.
According to a post on X from the team, point guard Damian Lillard was placed into concussion protocol on Monday night and will not play against the Toronto Raptors.
The team became aware of the concussion when Lillard began telling medical staff that he was experiencing symptoms such as a headache and dizziness after taking a hit to the head during the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to Boston, according to NBA Insider Chris Haynes.
Lillard, who is averaging 26 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.6 boards so far this season, has not yet been ruled for Wednesday’s game against the Pistons and is expected to be a game-time decision.
