SOUTH BEND, IN and ST CLOUD, MN (WSAU) — The Wisconsin women’s hockey team continues to roll, putting up a 6-0 victory over St. Cloud State on Friday.
Laila Edwards and Cassie Hall both recorded two goals for the Badgers. Caroline Harvey put up a goal and an assist.
Ava McNaughton was busy in net for the Badgers, stopping all 27 shots she faced.
The Badgers and Huskies wrap up their two-game weekend set at 1 PM in St. Cloud.
Meanwhile, the Badger men went to Overtime against Notre Dame and fell to the Irish, 3-2.
Ryan Botterill and Owen Lindmark both scored for the Badgers. Cole Knuble scored the game-winner for Notre Dame in the extra frame.
Tommy Scarfone made 21 saves in the loss.
Wisconsin and Notre Dame close out their two-game Big Ten series tonight. There will be no radio coverage on WSAU.
