MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Chicago Cubs starter Ben Brown tossed seven no-hit innings but it was a five run 10th inning that gave the Cubs a 6-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night.
Brown struck out 10 and walked two in his seven inning no-no but the Cubs only scored one going into the ninth. Willy Adames drove in Christian Yelich to tie the game.
The Cubs hammered Trevor Megill and Hoby Milner in the 10th. Sal Frelick and Owen Miller drove in 10th inning runs for the Brewers but it wasnt enough.
Milwaukee, now 31-23, will play the Cubs again tonight…pre game show at 6:05 on WSAU.
