MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Wisconsin residents on Medicaid can now get emergency contraceptives for free with no prescription.
Democratic Governor Tony Evers announced the change during the State of the State address this week, and the change goes into effect as of Wednesday.
All you need to do is present your Forward Health card at the counter when buying generic contraceptives.
Pharmacists can check to see which pills are covered online at forwardhealth.wi.gov.
