WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Around central Wisconsin, the weather is starting to become colder and the leaves are turning.
That indicates that this weekend will mark the beginning of a fall tradition: Granite Peak ski lift rides.
People from all over the state travel to Wausau every year to see the vibrant colors on the mountain such as red, yellow, orange, and green.
This year, a ride up and down the mountain with a unique view of the environment will cost you only $15.
Granite Peak traditionally offers the rides until early November and throughout the fall their schedule remains dependent on the weather.
