STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) – The world’s largest trivia competition is returning to Stevens Point this week.
Registration for “Trivia 53: The Trivia Life for Me,” which takes place April 14-16, begins Monday at 3 p.m. Today usually has the longest line to register, with teams eager for the competition arriving early in the morning to wait in front of the Communication Arts Center’s 90FM student radio station on Reserve Street.
More than 400 teams are expected to register and compete this week from 3 to 7 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and noon to 6 p.m. on Friday. The Trivia Parade will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, and the competition will begin at 6 p.m. with the first question.
Teams will work long days and rely heavily on caffeine to answer questions for 54 hours straight until Sunday at 11:59 p.m. The winning teams will receive awards and bragging rights.
