SPRINGFIELD, MASS (WSAU) — Some familiar names to Wisconsin basketball fans have been named as nominees for Naismith Basketball Hall Of Fame.
They include former Buck Marques Johnson who is currently one of the teams TV broadcasters. Former Marquette and NBA star Dwayne Wade is also on the list.
Former Wisconsin Badger coach Bo Ryan and former Badger and NBA star Michael Finley are also among the candidates in 2023.
Finalists will be announced February 17th during NBA Alls-Star weekend in Salt Lake City. The entire class of inductees will be announced on April 1st during the NCAA mens basketball Final Four in Houston.
