HOUSTON, MN (WSAU-WAOW) — Two Central Wisconsin residents were injured when a propane heater exploded last Friday night.
WAOW TV reports 38-year-old Kendal Schmidt of Loyal and Verlyn Randt, 68 suffered burns as they were trying to light the heater while in an enclosed trailer.
First responders say the fire was reported at about 5:45 PM on November 4th. Both men were transported to Gunderson Health System in La Crosse to be treated for burns.
The incident happened at the Money Creek Haven Campground near Houston, Minnesota, which is located in the southeast part of the state. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal is investigating.
