NEILLSVILLE, WI (WSAU) — A former teacher and coach in the Greenwood school district has pled not guilty to charges of having a sexual relationship with a student.
Dylan North entered the plea on Wednesday during a court appearance in Clark County. He’s facing two counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff along with child enticement and exposing a child to harmful material. All of the counts are felonies.
According to the student, she and North exchanged messages on the social media app Snapchat, adding that they were “close friends but more than friends.” Investigators say the two engaged in sexual contact in his car after school functions.
He’s also accused of receiving nude photos from another student.
North is free on a $10,000 bond after posting the first $500 in cash. He’s instructed to have no contact of any kind with the victims or several witnesses and must stay away from all Greenwood School District buildings and employees. Additionally, he cannot be around any females under the age of 18 unless another adult is present.
He returns to court on July 7th for a pretrial conference.
