STOCKTON, WI (WSAU) — A fire that started in a garage has left a home in the Town of Stockton as a total loss.
WAOW TV reports crews from nine different agencies reported to the scene at about 1:15 Friday afternoon. One person, who wasn’t the homeowner, was able to escape the incident without injuries.
The wind pushed the fire from the garage to the home, where it jumped to the attic and spread. Crews had to knock down the roof to gain access.
It’s unclear what caused the fire.
