It was recently brought to my attention that, right down the road from our radio station, an elementary school is pulling together to send their love to Memphis.
Claire, a third grader at John Marshall, has been at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, fighting an aggressive cancer.
What started as a question about some eye pain, now has her taking part in a clinical trial at St. Jude in Memphis.

competed in a penny war to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, on Claire's behalf.
