Last night was crazy. My son was being a gremlin at Kwik Trip and as I'm flustered, getting him in the car, I placed my keys and wallet on the top of my SUV. Being a frustrated and a total space cadet with having to get my son to the sitter prior to going to work, I only grabbed my keys. I arrive at my remote and realized my wallet is nowhere to be found.
Low and behold I left it on the roof of my car and drove off. Immediately scared that someone is going to find it and max out my credit cards, I called my bank and credit cards and cancelled everything. The thing I was most concerned with is having to go stand in line at the DMV for 2 hours to get a new ID. Things can be replaced, my lack of patience at the DMV cannot.
I get home from work and it was like the heavens opened up. I opened my work emails and saw an email with “wallet” as the subject line. Someone found my wallet, found my business card and contacted me about picking it up.
