We’ve teamed up with News 9 to honor Hometown Heroes!
Do you know a doctor, nurse, EMT, or other medical professional helping in the fight against Covid-19? Has a local grocery store worker, delivery driver, postal worker or maintenance person brightened your day by continuing to do their job on the front lines of the pandemic? We want to hear about them!
Here’s your chance to nominate someone that is selflessly working so that the rest of us can be safe at home. Please enter their name, occupation, and a short blurb about why they’re a Hometown Hero.
Every week we’ll select one of the nominees to receive a prize that will make life just a little easier for our local heroes. While only one nominee will be selected every week, Midwest Communications would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every essential worker on the frontlines during this pandemic!

All this while still trying to raise a 3-year-old and a high school senior, and still finding time to make and donate masks. Hometown hero or not, she Is 100% our hero!

Justin Guthman, Pharmacy Director for Ascension.
"Justin has been an exemplary leader for others during this unprecedented time not only implementing cutting edge COVID management policy and procedures for pharmacy staff at all of the hospitals for Ascension in the Northern Region of WI but also helping retail pharmacy staff set up procedures to protect staff and customers while still meeting patient's needs. He has also been vital in helping establish the Pharmacy Plan for the Acute Care Site at the State Fair Grounds in Milwaukee. Despite all of this he is still managing to hold meeting with his teams and keep morale high, be part of the daily incident commands, and find a balance with family life. A true hometown hero!"
