PORT EDWARDS, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — An unidentified Port Edwards schoolteacher is now the subject of an investigation being conducted by the Wood County Sheriff’s Office.
WAOW TV reports the investigation was opened at the request of the Port Edwards Police Department. Officials haven’t said what they were investigating, or if it involved students in the district.
No arrests have been made and the results of the investigation will be forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney for review.
No further comments have been made by officials with the school or Sheriff’s office.
