WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — The Wausau Salvation Army has announced that Major Paul Logan passed away on Tuesday.
Logan has served the Salvation Army for more than 40 years, the last two in Wausau.
“Our prayers are with the Logan family during this time of grief and loss. Also with the Wausau community who have worked alongside Major Paul in support of our programs and services to those in need,” said Major Steven Merritt, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan.
According to a news release, Logan is survived by his wife Barb Logan, who is also a Major with the Salvation Army. She will oversee all Red Kettle and other holiday efforts in the community with support from the local Advisory Board and staff.
Officials did not disclose a cause of death.
