CAROL STREAM, IL (WSAU) — The Oneida County Sheriff’s office has announced the arrested of Christopher Terrell Anderson.
Anderson, known to some as “DJ Bravo” or “Bravo,” was taken into custody Tuesday at around 2:30 PM in Carol Stream, IL. Sheriff’s officials said it was a tip from a confidential informant that led officers to him.
Sheriff Grady Hartman said there will be no further information released at this time, but he did thank the public for their contributions to the reward fund for information leading to the arrest of Anderson.
The 30-year-old is suspected of shooting Hannah Miller, his former girlfriend and the mother of his child. Hartman says he is being processed in Illinois and will be extradited to Onida County immediately.
Officers believe Anderson shot Miller in early July and left her body along a rural road just outside of Rhinelander. Anderson has remained on the run ever since, with officers putting out multiple calls for information over that time. A reward fund was established in late August with $25,000 put up between the Rhinelander Police Department and Oneida County Sheriff’s Office. Residents also crowdsourced additional funding through Venmo.
Another man, Seth Wakefield, is charged with knowing about the alleged plot. He remains jailed on a quarter-million-dollar cash bond.
