IOLA, WI (WSAU) — After one year off due to COVID-19, organizers of the annual Iola Car Show and Swap Meet say their event is being planned for this July.
Executive Director Joe Opperman released a statement this week saying that his staff is ready to rally from the cancellation of the show in 2020.
This year’s show will be held July 8th, 9th, and 10th. Opperman says they are preparing over 1,600 campground spaces and over 4,000 swap spaces. Over 2,500 cars will also be on display over the three-day show.
Opperman added that they are hoping the show can bring positivity, hope, and much-needed revenue to the area after a tough 2020.
The 2020 show was cancelled last May as many other summer events were also being called off due to the ongoing pandemic.
