LAC du FLAMBEAU, WI (WSAU) – Two people were found dead in a home in Lac du Flambeau on Saturday.
The Vilas County dispatch center received a 911 call on Saturday. Tribal police were dispatched to the property.
A man identified as Barney Chapman was found dead in the garage. A woman, Natalie Poupart, was found inside the home. Life saving measures were attempted, but were unsuccessful.
The causes of death are not known, but there were no signs of a physical attack. Autopsies are planned. Police say there is no danger to the community.
