MOSINEE, WI (WSAU) — A crash closed southbound lanes of Interstate 39/US 51 near Mosinee this afternoon.
According to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation incident report, the crash happened at about 12:45 PM near the intersection with State Highway 34. Both southbound lanes were closed to traffic for about two hours while crews cleared the scene.
The all-clear was sent at about 2:45 PM.
No further information was released, including details on how many vehicles were involved and if there were any injuries.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office led the response to the incident.
