MARYVALE, AZ (WSAU) — The World Baseball Classic squad from Great Britain beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-3 on Tuesday at Maryvale.
Brewers pitcher DL hall pitched for the Brits and allowed one run on one hit and two walks through three innings.
Jared Koenig didn’t fare so well as he gave up five runs to the Englishmen in the fifth. Jacob Misiorowski started for Milwaukee and gave up one run on two hits in two innings of work.
Akil Baddoo and David Hamilton hit homers for Milwaukee.
