GILMAN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — Search crews managed to locate a child who wandered from home near Gilman.
WAOW TV reports that the unidentified child went missing near the intersection of State Highway 73 and Shiner Drive Sunday evening. Responding agencies included Gilman Rural Fire Department, Taylor County Sheriff’s Deputies, and the Wings of Hope Wisconsin drone team.
The child was found safe around 2 a.m. near 6th Avenue and Roosevelt Drive in the township of Roosevelt. They were evaluated on site by ambulance crews and released to their family without being hospitalized.
No further information has been released.
