MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — On a night when Giannis Antetokounmpo went out early with an injury, the Milwaukee Bucks battled back from a big deficit and knocked off the first-place Detroit Pistons 113-109 on Wednesday night at Fiserv Forum.
The Bucks trailed by 18 in the first quarter and Giannis went down with a calf injury only three minutes into the game.
Milwaukee slowly chipped away and finally took the lead with just under seven minutes to go in the contest when AJ Green hit back to back three-pointers.
Kevin Porter Jr led the Bucks with 26 points and seven assists. Ryan Rollins had 22 with eight assists and four rebounds. Green added 19 and Jericho Sims had a double-double off the bench with 15 points and 14 rebounds. Bobby Portis added 13 with nine boards.
The Bucks improve to 10-13 and will play at Philadelphia on Friday night.
