Steven’s Point Fire Department Conducting Live Fire Training

STEVENS POINT, WI – (WSAU) — December 3rd, 2025, Wednesday, The Stevens Point Fire Department will conduct a live fire training at 3100 Whiting Ave in the city of Steven’s Point from 8am to 12:30pm.

The training is crucial in maintaining knowledge and proficiency in Fire Behavior, Fire Suppression, Search and Rescue, Incident Management, Communications, and other response-related disciplines. This program follows objective-based scenarios that have been developed to follow the National Fire Protection Association standards for effective training.
