RHINELANDER, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A family in the Northwoods is dealing with the aftermath of a devastating fire that destroyed their home over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Fire crews from multiple departments responded to a house fire on Lakeshore Drive in Rhinelander early Thanksgiving morning. Video from the Pine Lake Fire Department shows the intense efforts to combat the flames.
According to the Pine Lake Fire and Rescue, “The owner of the home was able to escape with minor burn injuries.” Two dogs also made it out of the house safely.
Unfortunately, the home appears to be a total loss.
