MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU) — Mid-State Technical College is introducing the Mid-State Meat Market.
The new venture will allow the school’s meat-cutting and butcher students to sell the products they make. Offerings will include sausages, ribs, pork chops, bacon, and snack sticks.
“At Mid-State, we’re proud to blend education with real-world experience,” said Dr. Alex Lendved, dean of Mid-State’s Marshfield Campus and School of Applied Technology. “The Mid-State Meat Market not only provides our students with invaluable industry training but also connects our community to the exceptional craftsmanship and quality that define our programs.”
The public will be able to purchase the cuts online and pick up their orders at one of two locations: Auburndale High School on Tuesday and Thursday evenings or Mid-State’s Marshfield campus on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. Shipping and delivery are not available.
