WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A Wausan man facing attempted murder and child porn charges appears to be headed toward a plea deal, according to court records.
Officers say Seth Menting, 33, stabbed a man multiple times during a fight on February 22nd, dealing serious injuries to the 42-year-old victim. Several witnesses stepped in to apply first aid to his wounds until first responders arrived.
Investigators later search his house and say they found child pornography.
Court records show he had a hearing on October 30. He now has a plea hearing scheduled for December 8 and a sentencing hearing scheduled for February 13.
