GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — Packers TE Tucker Kraft suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s 16-13 setback against Carolina at Lambeau Field.
The third-year pro went down in the 3rd quarter of Sunday’s game and was carted off the field. After the game, head coach Matt LaFleur said he didn’t have details on the injury but said it “didn’t look good.”
The Timber Lake, SD native was blocking on a run play when he went down. He had two catches for 20 yards before leaving the game
Kraft has been one of the team’s most reliable receivers this season, with 32 catches, 489 yards, and six touchdowns on 44 targets. Twenty-two of those catches have gone for first downs. He also leads the team with 344 yards after catch.
Multiple NFL insiders have confirmed the news, including ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
It’s unclear when Kraft will have surgery on the knee.
