Stevens Point, WI (WSAU) — The University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point has ranked 15th for regional Public schools. According to Interim Chancellor Pritima Gandhi, UWSP is one of the most valued school in the Midwest.
“I think, we are so proud of that because we are one of the most valued school in the Midwest. Our students have a great return on their investment with our low tuition, hands-on experiences, and engaged and supportive staff members who truly care about our students success.”
Gandhi explains how the students are encouraged to follow their passions and get hands-on experiences when making progress towards their degree.
“We offer the practical and hands on experience with all of our internships that we have, and we have the skyward internship center right on our campus. We have a lot of great opportunities to really learn different things with different partners and businesses.”
Currently, UWSP has 8540 students attending, with that number expected to grow.
