Green Bay Packers
CLEVELAND, OHIO (WSAU) — The Cleveland Browns blocked a late field goal and then kicked one of their own as time expired to beat the Green Bay Packers 13-10 on Sunday.
The Browns scored all 13 of their points in the 4th quarter as the Packer defense was good for most of the day. The offense struggled behind an injury ravaged offensive line. Both Zach Tom and Aaron Banks left the game with injuries.
Jordan Love was 18-25 for 183 yards. He threw a TD to back-up tight end John Fitzpatrick but also threw a key interception late that set up Cleveland’s game tying touchdown. He was sacked five times and pressured many more times during the game.
The Packers were lined up up to kick a late field goal from 43 yards to take the lead. It was blocked and then the Browns were able to move into field goal range for Andre Szmyt. He nailed a 55 yarder as the clock expired.
The Packers fall to 2-1 and will face Dallas on the road on Sunday night.
