WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A 31-year-old Wausau man is wanted for arrest after he failed to appear in court for multiple drug-related felony charges this summer.
Dylan Hanson was arrested in early July after a routine traffic stop turned up more than a half-pound of methamphetamine in his vehicle.
He was charged in court on July 2nd and released after posting a $750 bond.

Wausau Police announced the stop in an Independence Day Facebook post, saying “Celebrate with fireworks, not felonies,” along with a picture of K9 Lowkey, who alerted officers to the presence of drugs during the traffic stop.
Court records show Hanson failed to appear for hearings on July 9, July 25, and September 9. Numerous attempts to reach him at his Wausau address were unsuccessful, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest after July 9th.
No further court action was immediately scheduled. Charges against him carry a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, plus the possibility of additional time due to his status as a repeat offender.
