LAC Du FLAMBEAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — The Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police is refocusing the search efforts for Melissa Beson, who has been missing since mid-March.
WAOW TV reports officers with the department are now concentrating search efforts along County D, south of Kiboniki Lake, using foot searches, drones, and canines. The move comes after a new lead suggests Beason was seen exiting a van near the lake, then became agitated and refused a ride from another vehicle in the area.
No further information has been released.
Beson is described as 5’7” with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes. She has multiple tattoos on her neck, arms, and legs. She went missing on March 17th. Since then, multiple search efforts have come up empty.
