WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – After a change in ownership and a remodeling, Bull Falls Brewing Company is welcoming customers back this weekend.
Bull Falls Brewery closed their doors in September 2024, then owned by Mike and Don Zamzow. Current owners Kurt Mueller and Jason Peck purchased the brewery and got the keys in February of 2025. Since then, they have come up with new ideas to recreate the brew pub experience. “You will see just a little piece of Germany here, and the architecture that was here being brought to life,” said Peck. “Last year they had a big white tent, and it is no longer that.”
The old setup was a big tent outside of the main building, with seating underneath. With the renovations, the new owners will look to establish a more traditional style. “The big white tent did not belong here, and did not have a beer garden feel,” said Mueller. “This is much more original to the traditional German beer garden.”
Even without the tent, coverage from rain should be abundant, as there is a new building with and indoor bar, and outdoor seating around it. A big stage is also being constructed, built to attract some of the biggest local acts. Peck and Mueller are certain that visitors will be pleased with the changes made.
The Biergarten will have it’s grand opening this Saturday from 3 to 9pm. There will be live music and new beer releases. The tap room will have a grand re-opening later this summer.
