Michael Thorson
SHAWANO, WI (WSAU) – The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department says they are looking for Michael Thorson. The 37-year-old is a suspect in a series of car burglaries in Shawano and Marathon Counties.
The sheriffs department issued a public safety alert on Sunday. Law enforcement said they recovered a vehicle near Stockbridge that they believed Thorson had stolen. Despite a search of the area, Thorson was not found.
Police also say Thorson may be armed.
Residents are asked to keep their doors and cars locked, and to not leave keys in their vehicles.
