
DNR conservation awards ceremony
ANTIGO, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has announced that Conservation Warden Bradley Dahlquist has been named the Warden of the Year for 2024.
This prestigious honor highlights Dahlquist’s dedication to public service and his exemplary work in conservation law enforcement.
Dahlquist, part of the Antigo Warden Team in the DNR’s Northeast Region, began his career with the department in 2008. He received the Haskell Noyes Warden of the Year Award on July 12 in Antigo, surrounded by colleagues, family, and members of the Noyes family.
Capt. Ben Treml of the DNR Northeast Region praised Dahlquist as a humble leader with a “contagious can-do attitude” and a strong commitment to public service. Treml said Dahlquist is recognized as “a community-spirited warden who responds to calls any hour of the day and stands ready to help department colleagues and team with external partners.”
Lt. Jacob Cross, Dahlquist’s supervisor, highlighted his ability to treat people with dignity and respect, often leaving a positive impression of the department and the warden service.
