TOWN OF SPRINGVILLE, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A traffic stop in a construction zone led to a high-speed pursuit and the arrest of three individuals on Thursday.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident began when a deputy stopped a vehicle near the 3100 block of County Trunk Highway Z in the Town of Springville. The driver, 30-year-old Samantha S. Borck of Adams, sped away from the scene. A high-speed chase at over 100 miles-per-hour followed.
During the chase items were thrown from the vehicle.
Deputies used deflation devices, but the vehicle continued until it stopped on a dead-end road.
Dillion T. Sauer, 29, of Grand Marsh, was detained after exiting the vehicle. A third person, Ryan J. Jolin, 22, of Friendship, fled on foot and quickly apprehended.
K9 units from Adams and Juneau counties located eight baggies containing a crystalline substance, later confirmed as methamphetamine.
Borck, Sauer, and Jolin face multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. They remain in custody as the investigation continues.
