WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) – An Alabama man has been ordered to stand trial in a Wausau assault case that dates back to 2023.
Logan Craft, 33, had fought extradition back to Wisconsin, delaying the court proceedings against him.
He’s facing multiple counts related to an incident in the Wausau motel room. He’s accused of sexual assault, false imprisonment, strangulation, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Craft traveled to Wausau under an alias, Wesley Taylor, to meet with a woman he’d met online. He’s accused of assaulting her when she said she didn’t want to have a relationship with him.
He’s currently being held in the Marathon County Jail on $250,000 bond. He’s scheduled for a pretrial conference on July 29.
