IOLA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – The Iola Car Show is back for its 53rd year, marking a significant milestone. The largest car show and swap meet in the country will emphasize classic trucks and SUVs under the theme “4 by 4 Fun.”
The show features a thousand volunteers from various groups, with around 120 organizations receiving funding from the event. This year, the cumulative total of donations will surpass $10 million.
Joe Opperman, the Executive Director of the Iola Car Show said, “So the last several years, our payments have been in the $270,000 to the $280,000 range, dispersed among those groups. This year we will surpass that $10,000,000 milestone, which is just a remarkable thing and something that we are really excited to celebrate,” said a representative.
The show will run through Saturday, July 12.
