
MIAMI, FLA (WSAU) — After winning on Friday, the Milwaukee Brewers split the final two games of their series in Miami. The Marlins won on Saturday 4-2 and the Brewers took Sunday’s matchup 3-1.
Saturday the Marlins broke a 2-run tie with two runs in the 8th inning to pull out the win. Rhys Hoskins and Issac Collins had the Milwaukee RBIs.
Sunday saw the return of Brandon Woodruff who made his first start in 652 days and it was a good one. He picked up the win with six innings of one-run ball. He gave up two hits with eight Ks and no walks.
Jackson Chourio hit his 15th home run and had all three RBIs for the Brewers.
Milwaukee is now 50-40 on the season and they welcome in the Los Angeles Dodgers for three games starting tonight. Pre game show at 6:05 on WSAU.
