WAUSAU, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – After months of hard work and restoration, a local hangout in town has finally re-opened it’s doors.
Day’s Bowl-a-Dome is back in business after a fire last February rendered the building uninhabitable. After a challenging cleanup, with help from NorthStar Restoration, owner Dean Day’s dreams of reopening are finally a reality. “I have been waiting for this day for a long time,” said Day. “We are all very excited, all the staff are thrilled to be back, and I know many customers are biting at the bit to come back and visit their bowling center.”
The re-opening coincides with the establishment’s 78th year in business. Locals are encouraged to come to a larger celebration happening later in July.
