TOWN OF LEBANON, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle left the rider with life-threatening injuries, according to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash happened near US Highway 45 and County Road D early Friday morning. The motorcycle was heading north when it struck the vehicle as it was turning into the southbound lane.
The rider was thrown from the motorcycle and hospitalized. An update on their condition has not been provided.
Officers say the driver of the passenger vehicle fled the scene on foot before law enforcement arrived. It’s unclear if they will be facing charges.
