Wisconsin Badgers
MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The University of Wisconsin announced it’s Athletic Hall of Fame class for this year and it’s a star-studded one.
Included among the 12 members are former national men’s college basketball player of the year Frank Kaminsky, four time NHL All-Star and Plover native Joe Pavelski and five-time NFL Pro Bowl center Travis Frederick.
Others going in include Badger announcer Matt Lepay, running back James White, track standouts Mohammed Ahmed and Dorcas Akinniyi, womens hockey star Molly Engstrom, soccer standout Cara Walls, softball star Mary Massei Landini and baseball’s Tom Shipley. Coach MArtin Smith will also be inducted.
The ceremony will be held the first weekend of September.
