TOWN OF UPHAM, WI (WSAU) – The Langlade County sheriff’s department is reporting a drowning on Pence Lake in the Town of Upham.
The victim is a 78-year-old male. His name has not been released.
Deputies are called to the area around 2pm Saturday. The victim had already died before first responders arrived.
Firefighters from Antigo and Elcho assisted the Wisconsin DNR at the scene.
The case remains under investigation.
